Nasal Tip Plasty (Tip Refinement Surgery)

This procedure is performed to refine a bulbous or rounded nasal tip.
It involves reshaping the alar (lower lateral) cartilages and reducing the subcutaneous tissue to create a slimmer, more defined nasal tip.

Anesthesia Method

• Intravenous sedation
• General anesthesia

Downtime

Splint fixation for 1 week
Bruising for approx. 1 week
Swelling for about 1 month

Clinic Visit

1 week later: suture removal.
Follow-up after 1 month

Permitted from the day after suture removal.

Possible Symptoms and Issues After Surgery

Swelling, bruising, asymmetry, residual scarring, infection, and hematoma (accumulation of blood under the skin) may occur.
