Transcutaneous Hamra Procedure (Incisional Hamra)
This procedure involves removing loose skin from the lower eyelid along the lash line and repositioning the orbital fat—typically the cause of puffiness—to fill in hollow areas. By redistributing the fat, the puffy areas are flattened and the sunken areas are lifted, creating a smooth and youthful contour under the eyes. In addition, the orbital septum (the membrane surrounding the orbital fat) is tightened during the procedure, which helps prevent recurrence over the long term.
