Pediatric Emergency
Characteristics of the Department
The Pediatric Emergency Department is a specialized department that handles sudden illnesses and injuries in children.Taking into account the physiological differences between children and adults, as well as the rapid progression of illnesses in children, we provide prompt and appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
* Currently, pediatric emergency physicians provide initial care only during weekdays in the daytime.
(On weekends and holidays, emergency physicians respond in cooperation with pediatricians.)
- We collaborate with other departments as needed, such as Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, and Otolaryngology.
- For hospital admissions, internal medicine-related conditions are managed by the Pediatrics Department, while other conditions are handled by the Emergency Department or other relevant departments.
- Please understand that cases beyond our hospital's capacity may require transfer to another facility.
