How to Take the Test

Procedures

Please call the main line of ISEIKAI International General Hospital.
When you state, “I would like to undergo the pharmacogenomics test,” you will be connected to the SOPHIA Complete Medical Checkup Center, where you can make an appointment.

The pharmacogenomics test is conducted at the SOPHIA Complete Medical Checkup Center.

On the day of the test, please check in at SOPHIA Complete Medical Checkup Center.

A staff member in charge of the pharmacogenomics test will provide you with an explanation.

The attending physician will conduct a medical interview.

You will be asked to sign a consent form.

A blood sample (approximately 5 mL) will be collected.

From check-in to blood collection, the entire process takes about one hour.

If you reside overseas and wish to undergo testing, please contact us for inquiries regarding fees.

About the results

Genetic analysis takes approximately three months.
Our expert staff will explain the results to you, and provide you a written report.
