Cardiovascular Surgery

Introduction

ISEIKAI International General Hospital Cardiovascular Surgery

We aim to provide cardiovascular surgery that will help you feel better quickly.

Cardiovascular surgery has the image of being a “major operation” or a “difficult operation”. The best thing to do is to finish the surgery as soon as possible, as it will be gentler on the patient’s body and help them feel better quickly. We treat all cardiovascular diseases using catheters to the possible extent and perform minimally invasive heart surgery using small incisions rather than traditional surgery methods. We aim to perform surgery that treats any current illnesses using minimally invasive methods and allows patients to quickly return to their daily activities in good health.

Characteristics of this department

Our hospital uses a hybrid operating room and a thoracoscopic minimally invasive heart surgery system to perform minimally invasive surgery for all types of cardiovascular surgery.
We also have a surgical support robot called "Da Vinci" which makes heart surgeries that are gentle on the body possible.

Medical Equipment

-Hybrid Surgery room

This facility combines angiography equipment and an operating room and performs endovascular treatments such as aortic stent graft surgery and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI). "No-incision" minimally invasive surgery is possible.

Hybrid Surgery room

MICS System

Equipment for performing minimally invasive heart surgery using a 3D endoscope. The 3D view of the surgical field enables delicate surgical operations.

MICS System

Da Vinci System

(Robotic surgery)

The wound is made smaller, an endoscopic camera and a robotic arm are inserted, and the doctor performs the surgery through a 3D monitor, giving the feeling of actually moving the surgical instruments. Heart surgery that is gentle on the body becomes possible.
