Our department provides specialized medical care, focusing on acute stroke treatment, by introducing the latest high-performance equipment (MRI, CT, SPECT, PET, angiography, etc.).We also provide medical care for intractable neurological diseases (Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer-type dementia, spinocerebellar degeneration, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, etc.).Please feel free to contact us if you are in trouble.
Characteristics of this department
We provide medical care and treatment for all nervous system dysfunctions of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves (excluding mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia). We make a definitive diagnosis based on neurological findings, imaging diagnosis, biochemical tests, physiological tests, etc., and provide specialized treatment tailored to the case. We accept emergency cases of cerebrovascular disorders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can provide advanced diagnosis and highly specialized acute treatment using the latest equipment. In the hyper-acute phase, thrombolytic therapy using t-PA and thrombectomy using a catheter can be performed, and patients are closely monitored in the Stroke Care Unit (SCU) along with the neurosurgery department.
