Regenerative Medicine: PRP Therapy (Private Practice)
* All PRP treatments for osteoarthritis using platelet-rich plasma are offered as self-funded (private) treatments.
What is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?

Platelets contain components that promote tissue repair. PRP is a concentration of these platelets, activated to a high density. PRP is rich in growth factors that support cellular regeneration and healing.
What is PRP Therapy?

PRP therapy is a type of regenerative medicine that enhances the body’s natural healing power by using the patient’s own cells. By injecting PRP—prepared from the patient’s own blood—into the affected area, the growth factors in the platelets are believed to stimulate the body’s innate healing response.
